SovereignFund TFI S.A. is the first financial institution in Poland whose activities concentrate on investment projects undertaken by local and regional governments and entities subordinated to them.
One of the key objectives of SovereignFund is to provide LRGs with sources of financing which will enable them to increase their investment outlays without increasing their debt. This will enable local governments to complete projects which, due to statutory constraints, would have to be postponed to the future or given up altogether, at an earlier date. At the same time, thanks to more attractive conditions than those offered by classic bank credit, the costs of such investment may be significantly reduced.
SovereignFund is also an offer for investors which is unique on the Polish market. They obtain the ability to participate in the great leap forward experienced by Polish municipalities, counties and voivodeships. By placing capital in a closed-end investment fund they obtain a guarantee that it will be invested in projects important for the local community, and at the same time highly assessed by a team of SovereignFund experts.
The projects in which the fund participates belong to all the areas defined as the local governments’ proprietary tasks.
